Lookup can tell you
- Whether a serial format is valid Apple
- What model the serial refers to (Mac Studio, MacBook Pro, etc.)
- Approximate manufacturing year

Lookup cannot tell you
- That the device you're being shown actually has this serial
- Whether a logic-board swap has happened (catches case-swap fraud)
- Whether the device has been opened or repaired off-record
- SSD wear, battery health, or any hardware-health metric
- Cosmetic condition or prior liquid damage
